Dawid JARZĄB (Poland  )– conductor. He is a Wrocław’s Academy of Music graduate, where he studied conducting with prof. Marek Pijarowski. He has directed Wrocław’s Chamber Orchestra Leopoldinum, the orchestras of the Pomorska Philharmonic, Świętokrzyska Philh., Lublin Philh., the Music Acad. Symphony and Chamber Orchestras in Wrocław, as well as the Wrocław Philh. Choir. He won 1st prize at the A. Kopyciński National Contest for Students of Orch. Conducting in Wrocław (2013) and 3rd prize and Special Award for the best interpretation of a C. Monteverdi piece at the 6th Int. Tournament for Choir Conducting Towards Polyphony (2014). His achievemrnts have been recognized with a scholarship from the Mayor of Wrocław. |
