 k.budnik Katarzyna BUDNIK-GAŁĄZKA (Poland Polska)
soloist, chamber musician. A Chopin Univ. of Music graduate, she studied the violin with M. Ławrynowicz, A. Gębski, and the viola with P. Reichert. Prize-winner at int. competitions incl.: the L. van Beethoven Comp. (Hradec, 1st prize), the J. Brahms Comp. (Pörtschach, 1st prize), the M. Rostal Comp. (Berlin, 2nd prize), the M. Reger Chamber Music Comp. (Sonder-shausen, 2nd prize and special award), the M. Spisak Comp. (Dąbrowa Górn., Poland, 2 nd prize) and the J. Rakowski Viola Comp. (Poznań, 1st prize). Concertized in Poland, the Czech Rep., Austria, Germany, France and Russia. A Min. of Culture grant holder, she also won a Young Poland scholarship. Teacher at the Chopin Univ. of Music Warsaw.
 s.kamasa  Stefan KAMASA (Poland Polska)
distinguished violist, chamber artist, teacher. Viola studies with J. Rakowski in Poznań, T. Wroński in Warsaw and P. Pasquier in Paris. Toured the world with foremost orchestras, was a member of Masters’ Quartet and Warsaw Quintet. Numerous highly-acclaimed and awarded recordings. His masterly performances inspired composers including G. Bacewicz, T. Baird, R. Palester and K. Penderecki. Professor of Viola at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, conducts master classes around Europe and in the US.
 p.reichert Piotr REICHERT (Poland Polska)
a graduate of the Academy of Music in Sofia, (A. Nejnski’s class.). In 1981-88 a violist with the Polish Chamber Orchestra led by J. Maksymiuk and the Sinfonia Varsovia. Since 1998 a member of the Camerata String Quartet, (prizes in Paris 1990 – 1st prize, Munich and Tokyo). Chamber music recordings (for DUX, THOROFON, RICERCAR, KOCH). Won the Diapason d’Or, Studio 95 (Record of the Year) and Fryderyk 2000 award. Co0ncertized throughout Europe in the US and Japan. He teaches the viola at the F. Chopin Univ. of Music in Warsaw and Białystok and the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. His pupils have won prizes at numerous internationals music competitions.
